ISLA SET FOR ENGLAND

English Premier League giants Liverpool Football Club have been alerted by the comments of Chile National Football Team star Mauricio Isla who recently commented that he will leave Italian club Udinese at the end of the season.

The 23 year old midfielder has been linked with plenty of clubs throughout the last year and a half including current English Premier League champions Manchester United as well as Italian giants Juventus but it seems that only Liverpool are at the moment monitoring his situation and are ready to pounce for the player come the end of the season.

The midfielder has been playing on a regular basis for the Chile National Football Team since 2007 and has already amassed 91 caps with 2 goals in the bag. But it was while playing for the South American team in the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa that people started to notice the player and since then, he has been in the spotlight as much as his national team mate as well as former club colleague Alexis Sanchez.

Juventus, who are flying high in the Italian League at the moment have also been monitoring the player’s situation after being persuaded by Arturo Vidal to make an attempt at signing his team mate for the national team.

But it is to be seen whether the Udinese President is willing to part with his star player for a meager fee. According to the sources inside the club, they will charge a staggering amount of fee for the player just like they did for Alexis Sanchez, his team mate for the Chile National Football Team from European champions Barcelona.

However, according to the agent of the player, there have not been any concrete offers for the player yet but all this could change at the end of the season.
