RomeluLukaku, who left Chelsea for Everton in 2014 in a deal worth £28 million, is one of the players that may join Chelsea over the summer. The former Chelsea player only started one Premier League game before being sent out on loan to various clubs such as West Bromwich Albion and Everton. But his improvement with Everton has convinced the Chelsea management to sign the player once again.
But this time, they should expect to pay twice the price that Everton paid to sign Lukaku in 2014. Indeed, it is anticipated that the transfer fee may rise to over £60million. This is because they failed to include a buy-back option in the selling agreement.
Lukaku himself has stated that he is at a stage of his career where he would like to play in the Champions League and that he is also interested in returning to Chelsea as he has a point to prove to the Chelsea’s management.
However, there are also other clubs that might be interested in the player. It is reported that Real Madrid, as well as Paris Saint-Germain, might also be interested in signing the player.
Manchester United are also said to be interested in RomeluLukaku, but it will all depend on whether Jose Mourinho becomes the next manager. Indeed, it was Mourinho who sold Lukaku to Everton, and it is hard to imagine that he will want the player at Manchester United.
