Chile! Chile! Chile!

Alexis Sanchez to Speak English Sooner or Later

Alexis Sanchez says that he is confident that he will start speaking in English sooner rather than later. The Chilean arrived from Spanish outfit Barcelona in the summer for around £ 35 million. Not many expected him to have such an immediate impact at Arsenal, as Sanchez almost single-handedly has helped Arsenal win many matches. He has already scored 17 goals in just 26 appearances in all competitions. This includes an impressive eight assists as well. One can only expect the impact getting bigger in the coming seasons, as the 26-year-old starts to work on his language.

Sanchez has already played in three countries since coming to European football with Udinese. He says that learning English is not going to be very difficult since it is not take long for him to get used with Italian. Sanchez may not have found the back of the net in the latest 2-0 win over West Ham, but his contribution was immense.

Danny Welbeck and Santi Cazorla scored the goals that helped Arsenal get a win from this difficult trip to Upton Park. Despite such important victories, Arsenal remain well outside the top four at the moment. It will take more than just Sanchez’ impressive performances to get the club back into the top four.

“I’m trying to learn and it’s going alright. In any case, with all the travelling I’ve had to do there has not been much time – we were away a lot on international duty or with the Champions League. But I enjoy learning English, I learnt Italian and now am cracking onto the English. The club is helping me a lot and there are some team-mates who speak Spanish or Italian that can help me,” said Sanchez. “3 points well deserved! Happy to be part of a TEAM of great players and very nice people!!!” said the player after the win over West Ham.
